The Planet Drum Foundation Collection consists of material that was acquired by the University Libraries to support a University of Nevada, Reno, Department of English graduate seminar: ENGL 723 Problems in Themes and Ideas in Literature: Bioregional Literature and Theory. Publications in the collection include brochures, conference proceedings, maps, monographs, and newsletters. Of particular interest are the proceedings for three biennial North American Bioregional Congresses, along with several monographs by Peter Berg, the Director of the Planet Drum Foundation along with issues of the Planet drum pulse and Raise the stakes: the Planet Drum review. The collection also includes a monograph by the Frisco Bay Mussel Group.
